I view Environmental Portraiture as an opportunity to photograph people in a setting of their choice, outside the confines of a traditional studio. The people that I have been fortunate enough to meet and photograph over the last several years consistently tell me that my work captured the essence of their families. I love what I do and I look forward to meeting many more wonderful people in the years to come.
Troy showed up and asked me how he should pose. I just started talking with him and asking about the things he enjoys doing and what he enjoyed as a child. Soon he was playing in the water and I was able to capture some very nice images while he was lost in thought.
